Stakeholder analysis
Understand your stakeholders and their roles better by assessing their needs and their impact on your project. Use this template

What is a stakeholder analysis template?
The stakeholder analysis template helps identify, categorize, and map stakeholders based on their interests, influence, and potential impact on a project's success.
It groups stakeholders into four categories based on their influence and interest:
- Keep satisfied: These are decision makers who need to be kept informed and have significant power in your project but show less interest in its details—for example, a government body approving your project or granting a license.
- Key players: These stakeholders have a big impact on the project's success and are highly invested in its outcome—think of a CEO, project manager, or investor.
- Monitor: These are stakeholders with low influence and interest in your project, so they don’t need constant updates or engagement—for instance, members of other departments.
- Keep informed: These are stakeholders who don't have a direct influence on your project but need to be kept in the loop—like end users, support teams, or community groups.
Who is this template for?
A stakeholder analysis template can be used by a wide range of teams and professionals to maintain a smooth relationship between the stakeholders and ensure their project's success. It’s especially useful for roles like project managers, business analysts, marketers, product managers, event organizers, entrepreneurs, and startups.
How to use this template
- Start by adding all the stakeholders involved in the project to your Space and listing their names on sticky notes.
- Analyze each stakeholder's interest and influence on the project and map them to each section based on priority (high to low).
